Spks Wrld Presents: Player Of The Week Featuring Nigel Blair

When it comes to sports some people are naturally born with a gift that you can’t teach. One of those athletes is Nigel Blair, a international professional soccer player. He has a very unique skill set, which sets him apart from his competition, and a role model to the youth. Here’s a some insight of his world and how he operates. 

1. What’s your name & where are you from?

Nigel Blair jr and I’m from Bronx New York but raised in North lauderdale Florida .


2. How did you become interested in soccer?

I fell in love with game after watching my father play growing up.

3. How long have you been playing soccer?

I've been playing for over 20 years now.

4. What’s is your training schedule like? Do you practice everyday?

We train twice a day Monday to Wednesday and once on Thursday and Friday.

5. What’s is your pregame ritual?

It changes every year cause I’m really superstitious. Last season I wore a Michael Jackson shirt to every game and only listen to future.


6. If you could choose what would you say your best games was and why?

My best game was in a cup match against a team called Dounau. I scored and had One assist and the game was on my birthday.


7. Who is the sports icon that impacted you the most?                                      

Deion Sanders and Allen Iverson

8. Do you have a favorite professional soccer team?                                         

That's tough but I would have to say my favorite team is Fc Barcelona.


9. What advice would you give to an up & coming superstar that’s following in your footsteps?                                                                                                   

My advice would be to work hard and stay patient

10. If you could have one superpower what would it be?

It would be ability to read people’s mind
