2. When did you start playing basketball?

I started playing basketball at 11 years old once I felt like I outgrew baseball

3. After leaving college, where did you start your professional career? How was the adjustment from playing in America to being overseas?

First professional job was in Belgium. The biggest adjustment from college to professional life is the amount of personal time. In college it was a very full scheduled with classes/tutoring/practice/games/travel...In the professional world it was just practice and home or game then home.

4. What has been your favorite country you’ve played in so far? Or where is your favorite place you have played?

My favorite country so far has been Greece hands down!!!

5. What is your favorite part about playing in another country?

My favorite part about playing in another country is the experience of being in a completely new environment and learning to adjust. I think it test your personal limits and broadens your horizon.

6. Who or what is your inspiration?

Lately my inspiration has come from the youth. Children mimic what they see and it is a huge responsibility to be a role model, especially when your an athlete. Whether we realize it or not the kids are watching.

7. Who was your favorite athlete to watch growing up?

My favorite athlete growing up was Allen Iverson. I thought he brought a lot of swagger to the sport and was a very exciting player to watch when I was young.  

8. What are some of the trials and tribulations you went through, that an up and coming athlete may go through? What advice would you give them?

One thing I’ve struggled with my whole career and I am still dealing with this to this day. Is that you can’t please everybody and not everyone will like you personally or like you as a player. But you must stay true to yourself & fuel yourself with confidence by working hard and having a stable work ethic. Cherish all the time you get to have as a professional athlete. Don’t take it for granted and try to get the absolute most out of it.

9. If you can have one super power what would it be?

If i could have a super power I would like to fly. Get to where I am going easily and enjoy the view from up top.
